It has exceptional know-how in miniaturisation of buildings, techniques and processes. The manager is an expert in several domains, which he applies at a 1:10 scale: woodworking, using his cabinetwork background, know-how in building, in making mechanisms to animate characters, and in making animal-drawn vehicles. In addition, he is skilled in many professions, in miniature, that are gradually disappearing, such as chair-maker, barrel-maker and blacksmith. The manageress is specialised in making clay and slate tiles. She has made respectively 80,000 and 25,000.

For the Musée Vendée Miniature, which features a 1:10 scale village from the last century, 650 characters and 10,000 accessories were hand-made.

The clientele consists mainly of individuals (tourists) and groups (associations, schools, retirement homes).
